This petition has been filed to expedite the trial in C.C.No.461 of 2018, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Tenkasi.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.2 in C.C.No.461 of 2018 is facing trial for the charges punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 342, 354, 448 and 506(ii) I.P.C. and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act and Section 67 A of the Information Technology Act.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that there are fifteen witnesses cited by the prosecution and three of them have already been examined. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Since the case is in part-trial stage, the learned Magistrate, Tenkasi is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.461 of 2018, on its file within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
