ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by one Sivasuppu, the respondent has registered a case in Cr.No.20 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 448, 294(b), 307 and 506(ii) IPC. He further submitted that the petitioner has already obtained anticipatory bail from this Court and he is also complying with the conditions imposed by this Court and that being so, the respondent is frequently https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ calling upon the petitioner and harassing him.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent has submitted that the FIR has been registered against 5 persons and the petitioner is the accused No.1 and he has obtained anticipatory bail. He further submitted that the petitioner was called upon only for regular enquiry and he was not subjected to any harassment.

4.Recording the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed not to harass the petitioner and if the petitioner's appearance is absolutely necessary, the respondent can summon him and make enquiry, in accordance with law.

5.With the above said direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
