O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to accept the Petitioner's original documents which was submitted manually and consequently direct the respondents to consider the Petitioner's application for admission to the third year Law course for the academic year 2025-2026.
2.A perusal of the records would reveal that the Writ Petitioner had received an e-mail communication, dated 23.12.2025 to the effect that she is the eligible applicant and if she is willing to join the requested course, she has to upload the following documents on or before 25.12.2025.
3.According to the learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner due to server problem, the Petitioner was not able to upload the original documents and therefore, she has submitted the documents in person to the second respondent University. 4.The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a diection to the respondents to consider the Petitioner's documents that 2/5
were submitted manually for granting admission to the Petitioner. 5.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent has received written instructions, dated 29.1.2026 to the effect that the Petitioner has applied in BC(others)category.The cut-off mark for the said category as on 23.1.2026 is 65.958. However, the Petitioner has secured only 55.060 marks and there are 117 candiates above the Writ Petitioner and the Petitioner is in the waiting list. As and when the Petitioner's cut-off mark is reached, the Petitioner would be accomodated in any of the private college in the Petitioner's category.
6.In view of the above, in case, if the Petitioner's cut-off mark is reached, the respondents are directed to accept the Petitioner's original documents and consider it for her admission as sought for herein.
7.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
