PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate Police protection to the petitioner for fixing for boundaries and erecting boundary stones on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2019. The petitioner is keen to survey his property. But, he faces with the interference from the respondents 3 to 7. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that as and when the Surveyor measures the property and if any protection is required to be given to the Surveyor, the same can be done. 4.The petitioner is, therefore, directed to take such necessary steps to survey the property with the appropriate Survey Authority, who is required to give notice to the adjacent owners and in the eventuality of the respondents 3 to 7 obstructing the official duty of the surveyor, the second respondent may be approached to obtain necessary Police protection, as and when, the said request is made for granting police protection, the second respondent is required to give such protection to the Survey Authority to perform his official duty.

5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original petition stands disposed of.
