ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2023 given to rectify the discrepancy in the revenue records for the petitioner's property and issue patta to the petitioner for the site in S.No.226/25 in Palkulam village (Maravamangalam) within the stipulated time.

2.Mrs.K.Christy Theboral, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. Considering the nature of the order proposed to be passed, protecting the interest of the third respondent also, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/5

3. According to the petitioner, she has made a representation dated 19.07.2023 for rectifying the discrepancy in the revenue records for her property and for issuance of patta. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, she filed the present writ petition.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law by the respondent.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with 3/5

law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
