PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court to directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to produce the person or body of petitioner husband namely Mari @ Mariappan Husband of Pushpam, aged about 46 years before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

The petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's husband body or person, aged about 46 years.

2.The case of the petitioner is that her husband was missing from the 2014, whereas, she lodged a complaint only in 2019. However, on receipt of the complaint, the second respondent registered the FIR in Crime No.11 of 2020, under 'man missing'. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents stated that since the petitioner lodged complaint belatedly, that too after five years from the date of missing her husband, the second respondent could not able to find out her husband. Further, the petitioner is also not co-operating with the investigation.

4.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the second respondent and the second respondent is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1901 of 2020 directed to expedite the investigation and complete the same as early as possible in Crime No.11 of 2020.

5.With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
