O R D E R

The petitioner seeks an issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 17.09.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that patta was wrongly issued to the 3rd respondent by the 2nd respondent and aggrieved by the said issuance of patta to the 3rd respondent, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent even as early as on 17.09.2024. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said appeal has not been taken up for the past several months. Hence, he has been constrained to approach this Court seeking a writ of mandamus.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. Considering the pendency of the appeal filed by the petitioner before the 1st respondent, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition directing the 1st respondent to hear and pass orders on merits and dispose of the appeal, dated 17.09.2024, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the 3rd 2/4

respondent. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
