ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction direct the trial court to expedite the trial in C.C.No.220 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni within a stipulated period fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case. He would also submit that the case is pending from the year 2015 without any progress.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there are 10 witnesses in this case and the case is posted to 17.03.2020 for cross examination of LW 4 to 8.

3. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni to dispose the case pending in C.C.No.220 of 2015 within a period of four months from 17.03.2020 and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.
