By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2.This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to conduct the adjourned meeting from 17.12.2024 immediately as per section 51(5)(6) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998. 3.Heard the learned counsels on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioners herein, this Court hereby direct the 3rd respondent to conduct the adjourned meeting from 17.12.2024 as per section 51(5)(6) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
