PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2019 and give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and to carry on business in Door Nos.192, 193 and 194, Tharapuram Road, Ottanchatram, Dindigul District based on the order dated 25.11.2019 passed in I.A.No.618 of 2018 in O.S.No.123 of 2018 on the file of the District Munsif, Ottanchathram.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to consider the representation dated 16.12.2019 and to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner.

2.In the affidavit filed by the petitioner itself, it is stated that civil suit is pending between the petitioner and third parties. Now, it is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents that by the proceedings of the Municipal Commissioner, Ottanchathram, building in issue belonged to the municipality has been demolished. Hence, nothing survives in the Writ Petition.

W.P.(MD)No.2131 of 2020 3.This Court is of the view that no blanket directions cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
