ORDER
Seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the 5th respondent for the excommunication of the petitioner and his family and to further ensure the participation of the petitioner's family in the village meeting and also to receive Thalaikattu Vari and allow the petitioner to participate in the village functions, festivals of the Pothapatti Village, Viralimalai Taluk, 2/5
Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2024, this writ petition is filed.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor Mr.S.Ravi appearing for the respondents 2 and 4 submitted that in this regard already the petitioner's representation was considered on 09.08.2025, and an enquiry was convened between the petitioner as well as the 5th and 6th respondents, who were the Nattamais, among whom an amicable resolution was arrived at where the respondents 5 and 6 had given an undertaking in writing that they would permit the petitioner in participating in all the functions, festivals, and other formalities of Pothapatti Village, and also they would receive Thalaikattu Vari from the petitioner in this regard. After recording the same, the enquiry was also closed, and the function is also over.
3. Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents 5 and 6 not to excommunicate any person from participating in the village functions even in future. 03.03.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No 3/5
