ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to police to expedite the investigation in connection with Crime No.67 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Tenkasi Police Station, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli District and subsequently file the final report.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 29.01.2018, no final report is filed till date. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that respondent may be permitted to file a final report within a period of eight weeks.

5.In view of the above, the respondent is directed to file a final report, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
