O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case, based upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 25.12.2016.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that on 18.12.2016, 22 goats worth about Rs.1,70,000/- were found missing from the petitioner's farm and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent, but, so far, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has submitted that the respondent has received the complaint by RPAD only on 20.12.2017 and the enquiry is still pending.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner by way of reply has submitted that even on 25.12.2016 itself the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent, since no action has been taken on the said complaint, subsequently, he has sent another complaint through RPAD.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to verify whether any complaint was given on 25.12.2016 itself and expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

reveals any cognizable offence, then, he has to register the case and proceed in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
