For Respondent : Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR TIME EXTENSION Under Sec.482 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- to extend the time granted by this Hon ble in Crl.OP(MD) No.18232 of 2019, dated 05.12.2019 ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by this Court subject to three conditions. The petitioners' counsel states that the defacto complainant is based in Chennai and there are some difficulties in complying with the condition. I find the petitioners' submission to be reasonable. Therefore, the conditions earlier imposed are modified as follows:- (a) The petitioners will take a demand draft for a sum of Rs.20,000/- favouring the victim and enclose the same along with the surrender petition. The Court below will send the said demand draft by post or courier to the victim for which also arrangements will have to be made by the petitioners.

(b) The petitioners also write out a hand written letter of apology addressed to the victim and give and undertaking that they will behave themselves in future. (c) The petitioners are granted two more weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to comply with the conditions imposed on the petitioners.

2. It is quite possible that said company has a branch or local representative in Madurai. If that be so, the respondent police can ensure their presence in the Court below and the demand draft as well as the apology letter can be handed over to the said representative. The Court below will decide on the appropriate course of action.

3. The criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed on these terms.
