COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to quash the First Information Reports in Crime Nos.280 and 282 of 2022, dated 25.12.2022 and 27.12.2022, on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2. The offences with respect to Crime No.280 of 2022 are made under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. The offences with respect to Crime No.282 of 2022 are made under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

3. The parties are present before this Court. This Court upon enquiring the parties about the compromise, they also submitted that they have amicably resolved the matter.

4. Considering the fact that these cases being the case and the case in counter, and considering the nature of the offences and also the fact that both the parties have compromised the issue and resolved the matter, I 3/5

am of the view that these are the fit cases for exercise of inherent power of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to quash both the cases on compromise.

5. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions stand allowed.
