ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to conduct an enquiry and take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaints dated 31.12.2025 and 20.01.2026 within a stipulated time period, in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for Respondents 1 and 2, as well as the 3rd respondent.

3. The complaint relates to the theft of the idol of Arulmigu Abathsahayeswarar Temple. The respondents are directed to conduct a thorough enquiry by summoning the petitioner, the respondents, HR&CE, and any other interested parties, and to complete the enquiry 2/4

within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any cognizable offence is made out during the enquiry, appropriate criminal proceedings may be initiated.
