ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to order change of investigation in the matter relating to the Crime No.104 of 2019.

2. The allegation in this case is that one Sakthi Kannan alleged to be husband of the petitioner has been abducted by his first wife and her relatives. On an earlier occasion this Court directed the prosecution to ascertain the whereabouts of the petitioner and it was disclosed that he is living with his first wife.

3. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., wherein Sakthi Kannan has made a statement that he is living with his first wife.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, if the petitioner has any other right to workout her remedy she is permitted to workout her remedy as per law.
