Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide adequate police protection during the period of construction on his property comprised in S.No.351/29 and also in survey No.351/18 situated at Vetrilaikarar Street, Adiramapattinam, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the representation 13.01.2020 and also to take necessary action against the respondents 4 to 12 for illegal encroachment on the property of the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide adequate police protection during the period of construction on his property comprised in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1891 of 2020 S.No.351/29 and also in survey No.351/18 situated at Vetrilaikarar Street, Adiramapattinam, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the representation 13.01.2020 and also to take necessary action against the respondents 4 to 12 for illegal encroachment on the property of the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court.

2. Today, when the mater is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that petitioner has given a complaint in respect of which enquiry has been conducted in CSR No. 622 of 2020 by the third respondent. He would submit that counter complaint has been given by the 11th respondent as if the petitioner has assaulted her and snatched her chain and also stolen Rs. 5000/- He would also submit that the respondent police will look into both the petitions and during enquiry if found protection is required, suitable action will be taken.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
