ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his wife who were senior citizens, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2019. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and his wife are senior citizens living at P.Puliyankulam, Palayanoor Post, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District and that the third respondent, who is the brother of the petitioner, has tied goats in the petitioner's house. petitioner questioned the same, the third respondent and his family members abused the petitioner and his wife. Hence, the petitioner sent a complaint to the first respondent. Since no action is taken, the petitioner filed this petition.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that similar complaint given by the petitioner on 27.08.2019, an enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.30 of 2019 by the second respondent and that the parties have compromised the matter and thereby, earlier enquiry was closed. He would further submit that suitable enquiry will be conducted on the petitioner's complaint and if necessary, adequate police protection will be given to the petitioner.
4.Recording the same, this criminal original petition stands closed.
