ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai, to expedite the trial and to complete the same within stipulated time in C.C.No.392 of 2019.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the occurrence took place in the year 2013 and charge sheet was filed in the year 2016 and that it was taken on file only in the year 2019 as C.C.No.392 of 2019 before the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and prayed for the speedy disposal.
3.Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, would submit that it is a matrimonial dispute and the accused did not appear so far. The matter was posted to 25.03.2021 for the appearance of the accused and the respondent police is ready to cooperate the trial, after the accused make his presence. 3.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the respondent police is directed to serve summon on the accused and make sure his presence before the trial Court within a period of two months from the date https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2077 of 2021 of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order. On such appearance of the accused, the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai, is hereby directed to dispose of C.C.No.392 of 2019 within a period of six months threrefrom.
4.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
