PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records in C.C.No.140 of 2014 for the offences 498A IPC and 4 of TNPWHA Act on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Nagercoil pertaining to the FIR in Cr. No. 3 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.

ORDER

This quash petition is filed to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.140 of 2014 having been taken cognizance for the offences under Sections 498A IPC and 4 of TNPWHA Act by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Nagercoil as against the petitioners.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial has been over and all the accused persons were acquitted on 27.10.2015 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Nagercoil. 3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, since the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
