O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.752 of 2009.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that even though the case has been registered in the year 2009 for the offence under Section 379 of IPC, so far, final report has not been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent has submitted that the property involved in the case is Teakwood, worth about Rs.1,50,000/- and after registering the case, during investigation, it was found that 10 accused persons involved in this case and the accused no.5 was arrested and a sum of Rs.20,000/- was recovered. He further submitted that the investigation is almost over and a final report will be filed within a period of two months.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.752 of 2009, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
