ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the respondents to register a case, based upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 11.12.2017. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner along with one Saravanan started a Trust by name 'Vaigai Women Welfare Trust' and collected money from its members to the tune of Rs.4,96,000/- by saying loan will be arranged. But, subsequently, the said Saravanan has not made any arrangement for providing loan to the subscribers and hence the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the first respondent on 11.12.2017, but so far no action has been taken. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that after receipt of the said complaint, the petitioner was asked to appear for enquiry, but he did not appear and he is not co-operating and hence this Court to may give direction to the petitioner to appear before the second respondent for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent on 31.01.2018 and on such appearance, the second respondent has to enquire the matter and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law. In case, the petitioner not appeared on that date, then it is open to the second respondent to drop further proceedings. 5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
