O R D E R

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the second respondent, a case in Crime No.7 of 2015 was registered and a trap was laid against the petitioner, which failed. Therefore, the Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Wing have sent a report to the Government to take departmental action against the petitioner.

2. Be that as it may, inasmuch as F.I.R., in Crime No.7 of 2015 has been registered against the petitioner, a finality should be reached by way of filing either closure report or charge sheet. In this regard, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that if two weeks time is granted, appropriate report will be filed before the jurisdictional Court.

3. Accepting the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, four weeks time is granted to the Vigilance and AntiCorruption Wing to file appropriate report in Crime No.7 of 2015 before the jurisdictional Court.

4. With the above direction, the criminal original petition stands closed.
