Heard Mr.G.Karthik, learned counsel for M/s.Lajapathi Roy Associates, appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader for the Respondents. 2/6

This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari and Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order in Letter No.8344/Pa.Ka. 7(1)/2020-3 dated 08.09.2020 on the file of the 2nd Respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently for a direction, directing the Respondents to re-fix the scale of pay of the Petitioner at Rs.2000-3500 on par with the scale of pay sanctioned to similarly placed vocational instructors by extending the benefit of Government Order in G.O.(1D).No.327 Education Department dated 18.11.2013 along with consequential monetary benefits to the Petitioner for the service rendered in the post of Vocational Instructor. 3.
Mr.G.Karthik, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that the issue raised in this Writ Petition has already come up for consideration before a coordinate bench of a learned Single Judge in W.P.(MD)No.4713 of 2020 and W.P.(MD)No.18099 of 2020, and the said Writ Petitions were dismissed vide orders dated 14.12.2022 and 12.02.2024. Copies of the said orders have been placed before this Court and the same have been taken on record. 3/6

Upon perusal of the orders dated 14.12.2022 and 12.02.2024 passed in W.P.(MD)Nos. 4713 of 2020 and 18099 of 2020, this Court notices that the issue raised in those writ petitions is almost similar and identical to the issue involved in the present Writ Petition. 5.
Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents, does not dispute the facts of the case or the statement made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner. 6.
In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, and after perusing the orders dated 14.12.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.4713 of 2020 and 12.02.2024 in W.P.(MD)No.18099 of 2020, this Writ Petition stands dismissed in similar circumstances.
