ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as A1 to A5 apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under sections 147, 342, 323, 506(ii) and 366 of IPC r/w section 511 IPC and section 4 of TNPWH Act, in Crime No.167 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seek anticipatory bail. 2.According to the de-facto complainant, on 12.09.2014 at about 7.00 a.m, the 2nd petitioner/A2 called the de-facto complainant to her house under the guise of connecting a Gas Cylinder and thereafter, A2 to A5 closed the doors enabling A1 to tie Tali in the neck of the de-facto complainant.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been unnecessarily roped in this case.

4.Mr.G.Thiruvarutselvan, learned counsel appearing for the intervenor/de-facto complainant vehemently opposed this petition stating that all the accused have conspired together and A1 attempted to tie Tali and therefore, they are not entitled for anticipatory bail. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

6.Considering the nature of the allegation made against the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
