JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.Vijayakumar, J.) The present Writ Appeal has been filed challenging the dismissal of the Writ Petition, wherein certain clauses in G.O.(1D)No. 217, School Education Department, dated 10.06.2019 has been put to challenge.

2. The Writ Court, after giving certain directions, was pleased to dismiss the Writ Petition. Challenging the same, the present Writ Appeal has been preferred.

3. According to the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents authorities, the said Government Order relates to deployment of surplus teachers for the academic year 2019-2020. The said Government Order is not applicable for the next academic year onwards.

4. In such circumstances, according to the learned Government Advocate, the challenge to the said Government Order may not require any adjudication at this length of time.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the appellants also submitted that in view of the subsequent development, nothing survives in the Writ Appeal.

6. Recording the same, the Writ Appeal stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
