ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.) The present contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P(MD)No.22215 of 2024 dated 19.09.2024.
2. This Court while disposing W.P.(MD)No.22215 of 2025 has passed the following order:- "It is seen from the letter dated 29.03.2024, addressed by the Commissioner, Ambasamudram Municipality, to the Tahsildar, Ambasamudram, that request has been made to him to survey the land and fix the boundaries so as to enable the Municipality to take proceedings to remove the encroachments. Despite six months having gone by, no action has been taken. Hence, the Tahsildar, Ambasamudram, the 4th respondent herein is directed to survey the land in question and mark the boundaries as requested by the Commissioner of Ambasamudram Municipality, vide his letter dated 29.03.2024 within a period of two weeks from today."
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that this Court while disposing W.P.(MD)No.22215 of 2025 had directed the 4th respondent to survey the land in question and mark 2/4
boundaries as requested by the Commissioner of Ambasamudram Municipality vide letter dated 29.03.2024 within a period of 2 weeks. Pursuant to the same, the Tahsildar Ambasamudram, the 4th respondent had surveyed the land in question and had also sent a report under Form-1 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act to the Commissioner, Ambasamudram Municipality.
4. He would further submit that the order of this Court dated 19.09.2024 in W.P(MD)No.22215 of 2024 has been duly complied with.
