ORDER

This criminal original petition is filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sathankulam at Thoothukudi District to expedite the trial in S.T.C.No.622 of 2016 and complete the trial within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the case is posted before the trial Court 'for evidence' on 22.03.2019.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sathankulam at Thoothukudi District, is directed to dispose of the trial in S.T.C.No.622 of 2016 within a period of three months from 22.03.2019.

4. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
