This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2021 seeking for allotment of free or monthly installment house which was constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board at Athikulam, Madurai District. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that she is eligible for allotment of a house and therefore, she has given a representation to the second respondent seeking for allotment of free or monthly installment house which was constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board at Athikulam, Madurai District. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, she has filed this Writ Petition.

3.Heard Mrs.S.K.B.V.Srimathi, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Mahendran, learned Counsel for R1 and R3 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation seeking for allotment of a house at the aforementioned place is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.Accordingly, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 27.12.2021 seeking for allotment of free or monthly installment house which was constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board at Athikulam, Madurai District, and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner.

6.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
