ORDER

This criminal original petition is filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to monitor or supervise the investigation, being conducted by the third respondent with regard to suspicious death of the petitioner's son namely Chinnadurai with regard to the case in Crime No.230 of 2018, under Section 174 Cr.P.C.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the case is registered under 174 Cr.P.C., and the petitioner is the mother of the deceased. The deceased is alleged to have some breathing problem and on the way to hospital, he is said to have been died.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a report from the forensic lab is awaited for the doctor to arrive at a final conclusion as to the cause of death. The investigation is underway.

5. Considering the statements made on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to monitor the case in Crime No.230 of 2018, under Section 174 Cr.P.C., and lay a charge sheet within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
