ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the second respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute existing between the 1/5

petitioner and the third respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2025.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent police stating that the District Crime Branch had issued notice to the petitioner and he had appeared for enquiry and given his explanation on the complaint given by one Saravanakumar. The petitioner is doing real estate business and he had come to know one Saravanakumar in the business. The said Saravanakumar claimed that he had vast land and he has executed a power of attorney in the name of the petitioner. Thereafter, he also informed that the original title deeds found missing and he obtained missing certificate and received a sum of Rs.10 lakhs as advance. Thereafter, the petitioner had paid huge sums of money. Now the said Saravanakumar had turned around and lodged a complaint against the petitioner stating that the petitioner has cheated him. Though the respondent police was informed that it is only a civil dispute, they are continuously harassing the petitioner.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that initially on the complaint of the third 2/5

respondent, the case has registered before the second respondent and was enquired and now the same is transferred to Thirupalai Police Station on the point of jurisdiction.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner would appear before the Thirupalai Police Station for enquiry on 03.02.2025.

5.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Inspector of Police, Thirupalai Police Station on 03.02.2025 and give his explanation along with necessary documents, if any. The Inspector of Police, Thirupalai Police Station is directed to conduct enquiry and conclude the same without any further delay.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
