O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider and pass suitable orders, in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2025, in the light of the order dated 31.12.2013 made in O.S.No.207 of 2012, within such time as may be stipulated by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property comprised in S.No.23/7A, measuring an extent of 3 Acres and 85 Cents, situated at Koigaipethan Village, Thiruchuzhi Taluk, Virudhunagar District. PACL Land Company encroached upon his land. Therefore, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.207 of 2012 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Aruppukottai. The said suit was settled before the Lok Adalat on 24.10.2023 in favour of the petitioner. However, the respondents have not effected the necessary changes in the revenue records pursuant to the order passed in the said suit, despite several Page No. 2 of 5

representations having been submitted by the petitioner. The petitioner finally submitted a representation dated 14.06.2025 in this regard. The first respondent, vide proceedings dated 03.07.2025, directed the second respondent to consider the petitioner's claim based on the relevant documents. However, no further action has been taken till date. Therefore, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2025 would be concluded and appropriate orders would be passed by the first respondent within a period of sixteen weeks.

5. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to conclude the enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2025 and pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any Page No. 3 of 5
