ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct an enquiry upon the representation, dated 17.10.2025 and restore the patta in the name of Sangili Konar, who is father of the petitioner and thereafter, mutate the patta in the name of the petitioner to the land in Survey No.279, situated at Maravamangalam Village, Palkulam Group, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District, following the order passed in O.S.No. 210/2008, on the file of District Munsif Court, Sivagangai, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the lawful owner of the subject property and Patta relating to the subject property has been

cancelled by the third respondent without any notice. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 17.10.2025 to the respondents. However, the patta has not been mutated in her name till date. Therefore, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the third respondent within a period of twelve weeks.

5. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The third respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties, who may be affected by such decision, before passing any order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty

to pursue their remedies before the competent Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
