This contempt petition has been filed to punish the contemnor / respondent for their deliberate and willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.17353 of 2024 dated 29.07.2024. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that the order of this Court has been complied with and a case was registered, after getting an opinion from the Social Welfare Officer in Cr.No.5 of 2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 85, 296(b), 115(2), 351(2) 3(5) BNS and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 3.Recording the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this contempt petition is closed. 06.06.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes gns 2/4
