Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the Learned District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram (Special)Judge for SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act to consider the Bail Application of the Petitioner on the same day of his surrender in Cr.No.6 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER:- This Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and the earlier order of this court dated 4/12/2020 and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.Seeni Sulthan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate(Crl.Side) for the 1st and 2nd respondents, this Court made the following order:

This court by its order dated 04.12.2020, made in Crl.OP(MD) No.14017 of 2020 directed the petitioner to surrender before the Jurisdictional Special Court within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was not in a position to surrender before the trial Court within the time stipulated by this Court and seeks further time to surrender.

3. Considering the request made by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Jurisdictional Special Court, on or before 05.03.2021, failing which, the order passed by this Court, shall stand automatically cancelled, without further reference to this Court.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
