ORDER

The petitioner seeks protection from harassment of the third respondent presumably at the instance of the fourth respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the fourth respondent has preferred a complaint, which is pending in C.S.R.No.31 of 2019 and it discloses that there is an ongoing love affair between the fourth respondent and the petitioner's son. The third respondent has neither harassed the petitioner nor intended to harass him. The said statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded.

4. Inasmuch as both the petitioner's son and the fourth respondent are majors, the petitioner may have little to do with any complaint, which the fourth respondent might have given viz-a-viz her love for the petitioner's son. Therefore, the third respondent is directed not to harass the petitioner.

5. If at all the third respondent requires the petitioner for any preliminary enquiry / interrogation in connection with the complaint disclosing the commission of any offence, then the same shall be done on summons under Section 41 A Cr.P.C., mentioning a specific date and time for enquiry and also giving reasonable time for him to travel to the venue of such enquiry. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate with the enquiry. During enquiry, there shall not be harassment to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
