ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide adequate police protection and sound service permission for conducting the "Lighting Kabaddi Tournament" scheduled to be held on 24.01.2026 and 25.01.2026 at Alangottaram, Sholavandan, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2026.

2. According to the petitioner, he had submitted a representation dated 13.01.2026. However, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that no such representation was received by them. Therefore, the respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 13.01.2026, enclosed in the present typed set of papers, and grant permission to conduct the Kabaddi tournament on 25.01.2026 during daytime, subject to applicable conditions.
