ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the respondents no.1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection during the survey of the petitioner's land in Survey No.336/1 of an extent of 3 cents situated at Kamarajapuram, Arimalam, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner on 19.02.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and

the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner seeks police protection for measuring her property by the Taluk Surveyor. She has also paid necessary fees to the Taluk Surveyor, but anticipates obstruction from the 4th and 5th respondents. He further submits that the Taluk Surveyor has given a notice for measuring the property on 25.03.2019.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there is no reservation for grant of police protection to the Taluk Surveyor for measuring the property.

5. The said statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded.

6.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to give necessary police protection to the Taluk Surveyor.
