Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate Police protection for the life and limb of the Petitioner till the disposal of the Civil Suit in O.S.No.61 of 2021 and R.L.T.O.P.No.1/2022 on the file of the learned District Munsif Court, Sattur.

ORDER

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner had filed this petition seeking Police protection for his life and limb till the civil suit in O.S.No.61 of 2021 and R.L.T.O.P.No.1/2022 on the file of the learned District Munsif Judge is disposed of.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions of the Respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the current paper in G3/3235/194/2024 dated 23.01.2024, is pending with the second Respondent between the Petitioner herein and the Respondents 3 and 4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also submitted that as per the circular of Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019 and Additional Director General of Police in C.No.18/ADGP/L&O/Camp/2024, the Field Officers throughout the State of Tamil Nadu are not to involve themselves in the civil dispute particularly involving money dispute and property dispute. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would further submit that the Respondent Police would dispose of the current paper within a short period of time.
