ORDER
This petition is filed to direct the respondents no.1 and 2 to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who had earlier advanced some amounts to the third respondent and had also instituted a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act against the third respondent, had now come before this Court alleging that the third respondent is now holding a threat to his life, limb and liberty. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner has instituted a case in C.C.No.26 of
2017 on the file of the Fast Track Court, Srivilliputhur, against the third respondent and the case has been compounded as the third respondent had repaid the same to the petitioner. Present threat has commenced since the compounding of the said offence.
5. The Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner's complaint is pending in C.S.R.No.122 of 2019 dated 18.03.2019.
6. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to cause necessary enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and take such appropriate decision as to protect the petitioner's life, limb and liberty. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
