ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to expedite the investigation in Crime No.8 of 2014 dated 18.05.2014 and file a Final Report.

2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner is a De-facto complainant. Based on the complaint preferred by the Petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.8 of 2014 before the second Respondent. The Petitioner seeks direction against the second Respondent Police to file final report before the Court concerned.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the Respondent on instructions would submit that as per FIR, there are five accused. After completion of investigation, a final report was laid against three persons. The names of two persons were deleted and charge sheet filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court (Magistrate Level), Nagercoil taken on file in C.C.No.262 of 2018. The case is posted for appearance of the accused persons on 02.02.2024. 2/4

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Petitioner is directed to approach the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Nagercoil.
