Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to rectify the mistake mentioned in the Encumbrance Certificate for the details of the schedule II property in the column of Doc.No.2130/2000 as per the sale deed dated 24.08.2000 in Doc. No.2130/2000 on the file of the first respondent within stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing first respondent to rectify the mistake mentioned in the Encumbrance Certificate for the details of the schedule II property in the column of Doc.No.2130/2000 as 1/4
per the sale deed dated 24.08.2000 in Doc. No.2130/2000 on the file of the first respondent.
2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and countery party if any within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
