The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the second respondent herein to expedite and complete the investigation in Crime No.316 of 2014 on the file of the second respondent, within a prescribed time frame.

2. The respondent has filed status report in which it has been stated that already investigation is over and final report has been placed before the District Vigilance Committee.

3. Recording the same, the respondent police are directed to file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
