ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Thoothukudi, to dispose of the application in I.A.No.01 of 2025 in G.W.O.P.No.542 of 2025, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.This Court, vide order, dated 29.01.2026, had directed the learned Principal District Judge, Thoothukudi, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending cases, ie., I.A., as well as GWOP and in compliance of the same, the learned Principal District Judge, Thoothukudi, had sent a report vide proceedings in D.No.1244/2026, dated 09.02.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases arising from the year 2018 to 2026. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases, I.A., as well as GWOP, is 49 and the pendency of the cases in the year 2025 is 22.

3.Since the present case is of the year 2024, the learned Principal District Judge, Thoothukudi, is directed to dispose of the case in I.A.No.01 of 2025 in G.W.O.P.No.542 of 2025 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

4.With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
