[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct respondents 1 and 2 to release the grant-in-aid from the year 20142015 to 2019-2020 for the Harijan Sevak Sangh Schools functioning at N.M.R.Subbaraman Memorial Residential Primary School, Madurai and Residential Middle School, Thirukoilur, Villupuram District. 2/7

2. A counter affidavit has been filed by respondents 1 and 2 stating that the funds are released periodically. The status of release of grant-in-aid to Harijan Sevak Sangh, which is elaborated in the said counter affidavit, is re-produced hereunder:

The counter affidavit further runs to state that the Ministry is providing financial assistance to organization for 125 students for its project at Madurai and for 250 students for the project at Villupuram in the State of Tamil Nadu. In addition to these projects, financial assistance is also being provided to the organization for its projects in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Gujaraj etc., under the Scheme. 4/7

4. The counter affidavit was filed in the year 2021. But as per the counter, the grant-in-aid was released up to the year 2020. That being so, no further consideration is required. If at all any grant-inaid is to be released, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a detailed representation setting out the grievances and in the event of receiving any such representation, respondents 1 and 2 shall consider the same and take appropriate decision.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
