ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's application for getting approval for building plan in S.F.No.367 of 2023 at Koodankulam Village, RadhapuramTaluk, Tirunelveli District.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that since the petitioner is going to put up a construction in Kudankulam Village, wherein Nuclear Power Plant is located, any building plan has to be approved by the local committee of Radhapuram Panchayat Union. Accordingly, a meeting was conducted on 29.01.2026, by the committee and it has been recommended to the first respondent.

3. In view of the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the writ petitioner within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
