ORDER

The present petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.291 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent.

3. On a perusal of the FIR, this Court may not be able to convince itself that the petitioners have made out a case for quashing the FIR, since prima facie discloses the commission of an offence and involvement of the petitioners in the crime.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that investigation is completed and charge sheet could be laid within a short period.

5. In view of the above, this Court now directs the Investigating Officer to lay a charge sheet within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners would be at liberty to challenge the final report, if there are grounds available for the same.

4.Subject to above direction, this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
