ORDER
This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection for the life and limb to the petitioner and her husband N.Ramar based upon the petitioner complaint on 14.03.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner seeks protection to her body, limb and liberty from the respondents 4 and 5.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner, while she was a minor, was given in marriage to a certain Prabhu, the fourth respondent herein, and that now she has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
eloped with another man and had also married him on 14.03.2019. The fourth respondent, in the meantime has preferred a complaint for woman missing.
5. Suffice to say for the present to state that if the petitioner apprehends any real threat to her life, limb and liberty, she is directed to prefer a complaint to the third respondent, who shall cause such enquiry on the complaint filed by the petitioner and take such appropriate decision as may be necessary to protect the life, liberty and right to the property of the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
