The present Writ Petition has been filed by a retired Senior Drafting Officer seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent to notionally promote the petitioner as Assistant Executive Engineer by placing him above the second respondent and disburse the monetary benefits.

2. On instructions, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that it would be suffice for him to issue a direction to the first respondent to dispose of his representation, dated 12.07.2023.

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
